Tricot

Tricot Fabrics are a class of warp knitted fabric produced on a tricot machine. The machines produce a variety of constructions from the finest available synthetic extruded yarns. The fabric constructions can vary from open-work nets and meshes to densely constructed flat fabrics. Tricot fabrics are different from circular knit fabrics. Circular knit fabrics are knitted in a circle and come off the machine as a tube which is either sold in tubular form or slit open and sold flat rolled on tubes. Tricot fabrics are knit on a wide, flat machine. Tricots are run-resistant, will not unravel and perform better than circular knit fabrics.
